About Us

Liberty’s story is a story about you. About people just like you.

It started in January of 2012 with Robbie and Ginger Larson being drawn to plant a life-giving church somewhere on the Gulf Coast. With the encouragement of their Senior Pastors and home church (Christian Life of Rantoul, IL) they sought out and partnered with ARC (Association of Related Churches).

After long thought, exploration, consultation, some consternation, and much prayer they knew Hattiesburg, MS was the place where God wanted them. That led to other people just like you, ordinary people just like Robbie and Ginger, to make the extraordinary decision to move with what God was doing. They chose to become a part of the story and relocated from Illinois to Mississippi.

That’s just a portion of the story that is Liberty Church. The story is an ongoing masterpiece that is being written by God daily.

Our hope for you is that you would become a part of the story that is Liberty Church. We believe the local church is the greatest movement on planet earth. The local church has been sent out to be change-agents for Jesus, He entrusted and empowered us with the greatest mission known to man. No matter your church background (or lack thereof) we invite you to be a part of the story Jesus is writing in Hattiesburg, Ms.
